This past weekend I saw Hunger Games at the Eagles Theater in my hometown, Wabash, IN. The Eagles is a typical small town theater located in the downtown area. Well, it's not quite typical since it's still open and it was completely remodeled last year. It's a joy seeing a movie in this old playhouse with two balconies, new seats, new screen, and new sound system. The acoustics are awesome!
The price of the movie was $5 and I got a medium popcorn and large drink for $6. So, for $11 I got to see a good movie in an an awesome theater with my favorite soft drink and popcorn. In the big city you'd spend that much just on the movie!
And, believe or not, the town's drive-in theater (1324 Drive In) is still in operation. It opens the weekend of May 4th with The Avengers and John Carter.

Thanks for indulging me as I brag about my hometown a bit!
