Is anyone else watching this?

This has got to be one of the most wacked out TV programs I've ever seen! Talk about pushing the limits!
Weird, sick and deranged and I may be hooked. :braindead:

I can't tell who's a ghost and who is a living person.

Only one of the many confusing plot elements!

So we are getting some answers, sort of, and it looks as though there will be more answers to come next week.

Not sure Tate's back story was as it has been explained this week. Pretty sure we saw Mr. Harmon (who is a total dirt bag BTW) speaking to one of his parents before, but now we know who his mother is, who he his, and what he has done in the past (Almost 20 years in the past!). So there may be some "making it up as they go along" shenanigans.

OK, so who is dead and who is alive... The Harmons are all alive (for now?). Mrs. Langdon next door is alive. Tate who is indeed her son is indeed dead. All the other ghostly people are just that and the the burn victim crazy guy is alive as well. Now that we have that settled...

I am actually loosing a little of my fascination with the show. It's freaky and strange and often fairly disgusting, but it is also so disjointed. The scenes play one after another yet almost never feel connected in any way. Things go on in the house to one person or another and despite the fact that we just left someone in the kitchen, they seem blissfully unaware of yelling and banging going on in the next scene taking place upstairs. I know old house were built pretty strongly but....

I am not about to give up the show, I want to know what the heck is going on, but I have to admit that after this season wraps I'll be pretty ambivalent about taking it up again next time.

Ghosts apparently have the power to make you forget as in the gay couple who went berserk because the apples were the wrong color and can appear old when they died young and cook things. I still don't know who Latex guy is.

I think this is going to fall off my viewing schedule. All the build up so far this season and it is looking like it is all climaxing in a "End of Days" rip-off.
I can't even say that I'm disappointed. I have never been able to figure out whether or not I actually liked the show or if I was just enamored with the fact that it was pretty far out there and very different than anything else I am watching.

Alright, I'm off the train now....apparently all the murders in California are caused by the house which I think was built on an Indian burial mound (since Dr. Frankenstein was able to reanimate the baby). I thought it was only on Halloween that the "ghosts" could be among the living but seems that it doesn't matter what day it is since they can call Joe-half burn on the cell phone to hide a body.. and how does Mr. Harmon collect payment since ghosts dont have insurance.

Yeah.. I think I'll finish out the season and unless they completely "wow" me with the finale, I wont be coming back for season 2.

I agree, the "rules" of the show are getting fuzzier and fuzzier. Plus it appears that once you are murdered in the house you instantly become completely OK with the fact. Nice miss of some drama there.

it had potential, this god awful show

Click to Read Spoiler:
The episode 2 weeks ago was a real shocker and almost made it worth watching. It dawn on me when the daughter tried to escape from the house and reappeared back in it (saw this before) that she was cooked but couldn't figure out at what point in the story she had died until it was revealed. It was a sad ending and should have ended there...

The season finale started out ok in the first 15 minutes but soon everything felt rushed, junk was added in like "Croatoan" and past Ghosts came back for bit parts, nothing was ever explained about why the house went evil in the first place. Soon the episode turn into a Beetlejuice movie (where I remembered the escape part) when a new family tried to move in. And no update on the Killer baby.

I will not be watching Season 2 which will include most of the cast: As new characters in a different haunted house in a different state..

I wasn't terribly surprised to find out about Violet. I didn't think about it before the reveal, but the reveal just came across as, "Oh, yeah.. OK. She's dead".

The finale I actually liked and it may have been enough to warrant keeping the show on the DVR "to do" list for season 2. Now for how long I keep it after season 2 starts... well we shall see.
