After today Zachary Quinto will forever be known to millions of Star Trek fans as the only other actor, besides Leonard Nimoy, to take on the role of the iconic Mr. Spock. Producer J. J. Abrams is attempting to breath new life in the Star Trek franchise by taking it back to it's roots and Quinto has been cast as a young Mr. Spock. Zachary Quinto is, of course, not new to science fiction as he plays the quiet but dangerous serial killer Sylar in NBC's sci-fi drama heroes.

Earlier last year, before shooting had begun, Jonja.net was lucky enough to get a few minutes with the future Mr. Spock. We talked about his fortune of landing a role on Heroes, what it's like to take up the role of a figure that has become a cultural icon and how he views his personal future now that "he is Spock".
