Just a heads up for anyone in the Northern New Jersey, New York City area that the non-profit Landmark Loews Jersey Theatre located on Journal Square in Jersey City New Jersey will be running a 35mm print of Forbidden Planet this coming Saturday at 7:30pm. This 1929 movie palace features a huge 50 foot screen, and is located directly across the street from the PATH subway station connecting Jersey City with Manhattan. The theatre is also easy to get to from all major highways. Secure discounted parking is available behind the theatre, have the parking ticket validated at the theatre boxoffice.

If you have never seen Forbidden Planet on the big screen, don't miss it. The effect are amazing even 50 years after the film was released.

Visit The Landmark Loews Jersey web site for details.

Too bad that is so far away, that would be really cool to see that movie on the big screen.
