I bought it; I couldn't pass up that price. I played the demo and liked it. It uses an extended version of the Doom 3 engine.
Has anyone played it?

I played a Demo a while back, I thought it was pretty good. But I was playing something else at the time and I never got back to it.

Couldn't stand it. If you played the demo than well you've seen what the game has to offer. They reuse and reuse the same thing over and over, the AI is so stupid you can tell where enemies will pop up before they do.

For that price perhaps in anticipation of an add-on, but otherwise meh.

Well I am playing it and like it alot. I was tired of all the military shooters that are out. I much prefer this type of shooter.

I am using Steam to play and update Prey now. I am not a fan of Steam, it is not something I would want to pay good money for. But Steam does make it easier to find and install updates and even new content for Prey.

i gotta go with kos on this one...but i'm not a huge fan of FPS's in general anymore...it all seems too played out to me...

on a side note...steam....sucks...got HL2 thru it when i got my laptop...i think it took more to run the program using steam than just getting the cd for it...but coulda also been my laptop...

I played the Prey demo, but like Darkblade, I am not a big FPS fan. I thought it was ok.

I dont like Steam much either as it's implemented. Stardock has it set up right with thier system. I love the Stardock system, it easy and effective and dosent cause you any problems. I have downloaded both Galactic Civilizations 2 and Dark Avatar using the Stardock system and once you buy a game from Stardock, you can download it from them for life.
