Lately, I have been playing Battleforge, a Magic the Gathering style customizable Card game come to life on the PC.

I have also dabbled in Braid and World of Goo. Both are very fun and challenging low level games. I would recommend either to anyone if you want an easy to play distraction that will give your brain a workout.

I am waiting for Starcraft II, Bioshock II, Star Trek Online, Dragon Age:Origins and cant freaking wait for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

What are you guys currently playing and what are you looking forward too?

Currently enjoying:

Left 4 Dead - Im really losing interest though due to lack of official and unofficial content. That update pack was really dissapointing.
Dawn of War 2 - Just finished the campaign in co-op with a mate so probably wont play much of this again.
Trackmania Nations Forever - Dont know why I got into this again but its a hoot with a bunch of mates.
Age of Empires 3 - Yep, love this one so playing it again.
Call of Duty 5 - My friend cant get online with this in peak hours but we play as much as possible.

On the 360 I just got Prototype. DAMN!! That is one fun game!

I just found the 3dgpu group on steam. I'm 'watzisneim' if anyone's wondering. My addiction to Team Fortress 2 is growing.

Also got Prototype (for the PC). and yes i have to agree: it's fun value if way up there!

Right now i am juggling a few games with each successive session spending more time on others as my involvements becomes deeper. On the 360 i am playing GTAIV and thanks Infamous on the PS3 for awakening my love for sandbox games - this is the game i spend the least time one. I have also purchased a PS2 with Devil May Cry and God of War - I have the 40GB PS3 with no backward compatibility. I've done like 5 missions on DMC and since i have played 3 and 4 i thought that i would come back to it after playing God of War which is awesome and my first time with the franchise - I also wanted to get to grips with the GOW universe before i touch God of War 3 on the PS3 when it is released. Finally the game i am spending the most time on is Trine on the PC. I tried the demo and it was decent and then i "acquired" and evaluation copy and before i knew it i was pretty far ahead and i realised how much i like it. One you get used to the controls (i use a gamepad) this hack and slash game with RPG elements and puzzles in a blender is bloody fanatic. So good that i bought it, cost me £19.99. Quality works like this deserve to have money thrown at it.

That is what i have been playing.

Never heard of Infamous but I love a sandbox game. I really hope that Dead Rising 2 has an option to not be against the clock because IMO that ruined the first one. Sandbox game rule # 1. NO TIME RESTRICTIONS!!! But then have Capcom ever even once listened to what fans of their games say?? Have they ever improved the cameras and controls in ResEvil? LOL

So where were we? Ah yeah GoW! Good one mate! Thats still the one game I would have to go out and buy a PS3 for. GoW1 and 2 have both been excellent and cant wait for the next one. Maybe the almighty sony might have even knocked a few quid of their system by then. They seem to be the only company not aware of the recession.

Trine looked very interesting but me and some friends have been looking for decent games to play in co-op. Titan Quest is currently filling that requirement but Trine caught my interest until I realised its offline only. Probably wont be getting it but it does look interesting.

One of my all time fav games. Just gutted that the Euro version didnt have the 'slightly higher definition mode' that the US version had.

After wrapping up Trine, a friend of mine talked me into trying Wizard 101.

Wizard 101 is a turned based, customizable card, MMO.

While the graphics are cartoony and pretty simple, the game is tons and tons of fun to play.

I know what you mean. I connect my ps2 using component and GOW2 had to not support progressive mode  .... for shame

Anyone lokoing forward to Starcraft II?

I know I am, I dont even care that each race will have its own expansion. Turning the 3 races into a trilogy.

Yeah, that one looks pretty good. I might have to give that one a try myself.

Gonna have a long wait by the look of things. I dont reckon they'll have that out before christmas next year :( Typical Blizzard but then at least you know it will be well balanced and work properly.

Just completed God of War 2. Really enjoyed the experience but what a bastard of an ending....i wanted more. I certainly looking forward to God of War 3.

Just started Ratchet and Clank: The Precurser Legacy on my PS2. Should be interesting since i really enjoyed Tools of Destruction on the PS3 (Easy but complimented by being very long).

Edit: Suger, i am begining to feel the sense of loss for God of War 2 :( I really want more...that ending was a real bastardio

For an idea of how tantalising the ending is just think "Empire strikes Back"
