IDW released the first issue of its much anticipated Star Trek/Doctor Who crossover and I must say I can't wait for the next issue! The first issue focuses on Doctor Who, Amy, and Rory with the Star Trek characters not popping up until the very end.

The art work is amazing and the characters are spot-on. As I was reading it, I could hear the actor/actress's voices. From what I understand, the folks who write the Doctor Who comics at IDW did the first issue. That really showed since the characters and artwork were right on the money.

According to what I've heard and read, comic book stores quickly sold out of the book and the digital download topped the Apple iBooks chart in the comics and graphic novels category.

My only complaint is that I wish it was longer than a fifteen minute read for my $4. But, that's how comics are these days. But, all-in-all, a very good start.
