By now, many of you have read my novel.
Now, you know my writing style.
I now ask this.
Would you like to read a work in progress?
It is called Star Trek: To Boldly Go.
It picks up after Kirk gets "bridged".
And it gets rid of that annoying dark Enterprise.
All ships return to the well lit, white ships of old.
And it introduces a new ship called the "Nimitz".
That causes some hilarity among the Klingons'
Interested?

OK
Here is the teaser.
The Sovereign class Enterprise( a butt ugly pile) is testing a new drive
called " null space" and explodes, but not before seeing a glimpse of the Defiant.
Meanwhile, the USS Galaxy is being decomissioned, but Captain Riker must beg, borrow or steal pieces to get her going again because of an incident with the Romulans regarding the new drive system.
During the time that the Enterprise E was looking ugly and doing time travel (yawn) there was a new class being developed called the Quasar class.
It features elongated warp nacelles so the bubble could be smaller as to not tear subspace pockets when travelling faster than warp 5
It also is white, bright and sleek and well armed with a columated phaser as per the final TNG episode.
Also, introduces a fast start warp core using a phaser.
Then we get to the Nimitz.
Google that and you can figure out what it is.
She's bloody huge.
See where this is going?

Forgot to add
Kirk is recovered from Generations, but in a holo deck form only.
He bounces from a TOS look to a Generations look as the story progresses.
And Tom Riker ( remember that one?) is there too.

Sounds like you have written an interesting plot there.

Love to have it on board like your last novel. 8)
