One of the local news stations in Denver showed this image.

What do you think it is?

Bigfoot must feel that's his 'good' side because he always poses in the same position for pictures!

No, Sir. It's just some light reflected from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and diffused by Martian swamp gas.

Now just look at this red light while I put on my sunglasses. <spoooi!>

Here are the actual photos of the "figurine"

They are very compelling pictures, the imagination does run wild with them. (Keep in mind that these are false color images)

Your making it difficult to have a serious conversation about this subject Timelord.

We may have to take away your pudding privileges if you continue. :p

Funny how you only get to see one picture. I guess the Orbiter just takes one shot and moves on. I wish someone would put it in tourist mode...it's way to weird a shape to be just a rock.

Anyone else seen the strange pics recently release by Nasa like the glass tubes with a metallic ball, or the strange tree formation on Mars. My favorite is the saucer shaped object hanging half way over a cliff.

The image is legit. But, just like the famous "face on Mars" photo, the combination rock formations, shadows and our imagination make for a fanciful interpretation.

I'm sorry, but serious or not. As much as I would love to find out that their is or was life on Mars, as ecstatic as I'd be to discover that a civilization once lived there, I don't think we are going to find the evidence sticking out of the ground saying "Killroy was here".

This is either fake or like Shaf said, a trick of the light.

I'm gonna go with trick of the light. The air on Mars is so tenuously thin that anything even vaguely humanoid like would be certainly be killed when its blood turned to vapor. And if it did have a circulatory system "armored" enough to maintain a pressure where water would stay liquid, it would likely be too stiff to move.

An artifact of some kind seems unlikely too as it would have long since weathered away in the eons since it is thought Mars had a livable climate.

I know that large images are comprised of many smaller images, (and that is what the 'rovers' and 'satellites' send back to us on Earth), therefore this is why I am skeptical of the "Image Splice Line" in Report #134, picture #3.

(Especially when picture #4 clearly shows that we've "found Waldo!")
