I decided to give this game a try since its an online role playing game, but without the monthly fee.

I am very impressed with the graphics and gameplay, there is plenty to do and you can either group with other players or go solo with NPC "Henchmen".

What is really cool is that you will only see other players in the cities becuase when you leave the city you and your group enter into an "instance".

Everything but the cities are instanced which is rally cool since you then dont have to deal with kill stealers,griefing or camping.

I would recommend this game to anyone.

I also have been trying out Guild Wars and while it is a fantastic looking game, I haven't really enjoyed playing it all that much other than the content before you go to the "Big Boy" part, and I did also enjoy the game the time me and Scorp were able to hook up in it.

I also have a copy of World of Warcraft, which again while being really great to look at, it lacks something in content in my opinion. Have been thinking about trying it out again and starting a player on a player versus player server, I can see how that might make the game a lot more interesting.

Currently I play EverQuest, a lot, for the last 3 years. And while it is not as graphically appealing as the afore mentioned games, it more than makes up for it in content and having been around for 6 years it has a distinct advantage over the other 2 games. I did a beta test on EQ2 and wasn't impressed with it, in fact I canceled my pre-order for it.

Wondering if anyone else plays these kind of games and what your opinions might be, would love to here from someone playing EQ2, I have a friend that says it has really come along since it's launch but I need to hear more from other peeps before I shell out the cash for it.

i'm just moderately curious if anyone here has a guild going on in guild wars...i play it on occasion still (when the GF is on WoW lol) and it's kinda gotten boring since i don't really know anyone in there....

I dont even own the game anymore, I gave it to a friend at work to give to his kids.

I am giving D&D Online a try however. Its pretty cool so far.

see i wasn't a huge fan of DDO...there a free trial thing with it? cause i haven't given it a chance since beta...just didn't have that D&D feel to it for me...but if it's changed enough i might give it a shot

I like that they now have a Solo option for a large portion of the instances and I love the Dungeon Master voice that pops up from time to time.....good stuff.
