Charles Rocket, ex Denver newscaster and SNL alumni, found dead in a field outside his home with his throat slit.

And the police are saying no signs of foul play.

They claim he did it to himself.

Never heard of him, but that sounds pretty awful

And who slits thier own throat? Come on people, thats just not right.

Good grief not familiar with the name either, but mercy!

Charles Rocket was the 'Weekend Update' anchor during SNL's 1980-1981 season.
This is one of the seasons' that Loren Michaels was not the producer.
Rocket probably gained the most notoriety by dropping the 'F' bomb on live TV during a 'Who Shot J.R.?' skit on SNL, the was promptly fired along with about half of the writing staff.
Not a real funny talent, but his film credits include...

... and a whole bunch of Voice Talent for animated features and video games.

Very suspicious.

I remember him on SNL. One time he gave a cabbie on camera 50 bucks to cut across 4 lanes at a stop light . You know go from far right lane across the others from a stoplight when making a left hand turn. I also recently saw him on Law & Order as a thief.
