Virgin Galactic, the British company created by entrepreneur Richard Branson to send tourists into space, and New Mexico announced an agreement Tuesday for the state to build a $225 million spaceport.
This is very exciting news, the first commercial space project to launch civilians into space as tourists.
I can only imagine what things will be like in 20 years? 50 years?
I envy my 6 year old daughter as to the things she will get to see in her lifetime. I hope that she will get the opportunity in her lifetime to ride into space.
If the day comes that I can afford to take a ride into space and I am healthy enough to do it, I cant imagine anything stopping me. It would be a life long dream come true.
