marc-webb-director-spider-man-reboot

Both Sam Raimi and Toby Maguire have said "See ya!" to Spider-man.

Sony pictures is rebooting the franchise, starting over with Peter Parker back in high school with powers intact.

Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) has been chosen to take the helm as director.

No word on the new Peter Parker.

Does this bode well to one of the best comic-to-movie franchises?

Everytime this happens, the new revised, changed version of the movie is a total
bomb.
Some anal corp exec, decides he is right and pushes the movie right into
the toilet.

I was never enamored with the casting from the very first film. After three
films finished, the die has been cast – I’m not sure the franchise can be
saved.
