Movie monsters have been with us since the earliest days of film. Some have been incredible, some have been scary and some have been absolutely horrible and down right bad.
A recent viewing and discussion of the film “Splice” brought on a larger talk about what exactly makes a good movie monster.
Not surprisingly “Alien” comes up a lot.

It’s our 10th episode! We made it to double digits!
Since we started our podcast with a Russell Davies era retrospective, had a very popular 5th episode where we talked about our expectations a hopes of then upcoming 5th season, we thought it only right that this milestone should be all about the good Doctor once again!
John Jackson, founder of Jonja.net, joins Steve and Christopher this time around to talk about the highs and lows of this years Who. Some great stuff and some surprisingly critical discussions from two of us that came in to the ‘cast thinking we would be defending it!

Sorry for the long delay, but we are back!
In this episode Steve and Christopher chat a bit about the recent 5 episodes of Doctor Who and then have a nice chat about several of the “genre” films coming out this summer including; Iron Man 2, Survival of the Dead, Splice, The A-Team, Prince of Persia, and of course that sure to be instant classic, Piranha 3D! (Yes, that is sarcasm. Mostly)
We promise to try and get these out more often. We try, we really do!

Steve and Chris spend some time discussing the upcoming 5th season of Doctor Who. We talk about the little tidbits of information that has filtered through the cracks and our hopeful expectations of Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Steven Moffat.
The phrase used most often by both… cautiously optimistic.
